With two of the five Sankara Stones already in his possession, Ram stole a third from the village of Mayapore but had no idea this would prompt the involvement of Indiana Jones and his companions Willie Scott and Short Round.Mola Ram's control of the three stones gave him terrifying powers and even Indiana Jones fell under his mystic control after being forced to drink a potion called the Blood of Kali. In a horrendous display of evil power Mola Ram, causes the still beating heart of one of his sacrificial victims to burst from his chest and fly into Ram's own hand. A spellbound Jones was useless to stop the sacrifice, and with Willie and Short Round looking on in horror, this truly seemed to be the end of Dr. Jones' adventures.
