A legend of the Old West, Wyatt Earp traveled throughout the Southwestern territories from boomtown to boomtown. Throughout his years in the territories, Earp became infamous as a gambler, boxing referee and fearless lawman. Wyatt Earp met Doc Holliday in Fort Griffin, Texas, 1877, and shortly after, the two became legendary cohorts. Along with his four brothers, Wyatt Earp made his way back to Tombstone, Arizona Territory, where the Earps became the standing law enforcement of the area.

By 1881, a feud had begun between the Earps and the Cowboys of the Tombstone region. When the quick-tempered Holliday joined his friend in Tombstone, he was quickly drawn into the feud. After Holliday traded words with Ike Clanton of the Cowboy gang, death threats were exchanged and the fighting escalated. The two groups would collide in a legendary shootout, the Gunfight at the O.K. Corral.

Star Wars Greedo 12 inch Figure. A snivelling lowlife in the seedy underworld of Tatooine, Greedo is looking for his ticket to the big league. When he stumbles across wanted smuggler Han Solo in Chalmun's roughneck cantina in Mos Eisley, the wannabe bounty hunter sees his chance to prove his value to his boss, Jabba the Hutt, and confronts the suave pilot. Apprehending a notorious rogue like Solo would certainly make Jabba take note, and could be the break Greedo needs to become what he aspires to be- a feared and respected hunter, the pinnacle of achievement in Rodian society.

Sadly, this is not to be Greedo's day. Biting off more than his twitching snout can chew, Greedo collects a blaster bolt in the stomach from Solo instead of a fat reward from Jabba. No fearsome galactic reputation, the scrawny thug's legacy is just another steaming mess for the long suffering bartender Wuher to clean up after closing time.

GI Joe Snakes Eyes vs. Red Ninjas Diorama. One of the greatest assets to the G.I. Joe team, Snake Eyes' record of honor and valor cause even the most evil enemies to tremble with fear. He trained in ninjitsu under the tutelage of the Hard Master, leader of the Arashikage Clan, who transformed Snake Eyes from a dutiful soldier into a fierce and cunning warrior. The Arashikage Clan had a powerful reputation in Japan and throughout the globe, but after the death of the Hard Master, the clan dissolved in confusion. Many factions arose in opposition, some growing suspicious of the mysterious outsider known as Snake Eyes.

The Red Ninja Clan blamed the Hard Master's death on Snake Eyes, and they became frequent and formidable opponents for the G.I. Joe team. None of them were prepared for the superior training and natural skill of Snake Eyes. G.I. Joe Beachhead 12 inch Figure. As a young boy, Wayne R. Sneeden was tormented by his peers and lived a poverty-stricken life in Auburn, Alabama. He persevered to graduate as high school valedictorian, but he was far from showing others just how much he could achieve. He went through Airborne and Ranger school in the U.S. Army, and his character was tested when he took a dangerous assignment as a Covert Ops advisor in Central America. His advanced training and skill caught the attention of the G.I.JOE team, America's most elite fighting squadron, and Sneeden adopted the code name BEACHHEAD as he became the team's ranger. He quickly gained a reputation as a composed and stalwart soldier, holding himself and his fellow Joes to extremely high standards.

Beachhead's fellow soldiers have the utmost respect for him, though he has not risen through the ranks of the G.I.JOE Team like many of his peers. He does whatever it takes to accomplish a mission - even if that means displaying a certain amount of contempt for rules and regulations. Ms Marvel Premium Format Figure. After completing the Air Force Academy, Carol Danvers was recruited into the C.I.A., where she encountered special intelligence agent Logan and fought against the Hellfire Club with him. Later, Carol became the director of security for N.A.S.A. and met the Kree alien warrior Mar-Vell, known as Captain Marvel. The two were forever bonded when the explosion of a Kree Psyche-Magneton melded their genetic structures. The incident left Mar-Vell unchanged but morphed Carol's genes into a perfect hybrid of Kree and human and imparted in her all of Mar-vell's knowledge and training. Through this transformation, Ms. Marvel was born.

Ms. Marvel fought many villains in her career, including Deathbird, MODOK, A.I.M., the Brotherhood of Evil Mutants, the Hellfire Club, and Mystique, and even joined the Avengers for a time. After suffering at the hand of Marcus, the son of Immortus, Ms. Marvel was lost in Limbo and returned to Earth only to be attacked by a pre-repentant Rogue, whom Destiny foretold to be threatened by Ms. Marvel's reappearance. In the fray, Carol lost all of her memories and abilities, and stayed with the X-Men during her recovery.

On a mission with the X-Men, Carol was captured by the alien Brood who performed experiments on her hybrid Kree-human genetic structure. These experiments unleashed the full potential of this hybrid physiology, and Ms. Marvel now possessed more power than ever due to her link to a white hole. She returned to the X-Men, but upon learning that her attacker, Rogue, was now in the group, she left in favor of joining the Starjammer space pirates and leaving her Earthly troubles behind. After exorcising her demons in space for a time, Ms. Marvel returned to Earth and rejoining the Avengers.

Star Wars Princess Leia vs Jabba the Hutt Diorama. Princess Leia Organa was one of the commanding members of Echo Base on the frozen planet Hoth. When the Imperials attacked Hoth, Leia took the initiative and acted in a number of command roles, ordering the evacuation of the base. Leia's access to her own escape transport was cut off, but she managed to escape in Han Solo's Millennium Falcon. Evading Imperial pursuit, the Falcon traveled to a seeming sanctuary in Cloud City, where Han's friend Lando Calrissian ruled the skies. Gears of War is a 2006 third-person shooter video game developed by Epic Games and published by Microsoft Game Studios. It was initially released as an exclusive title for the Xbox 360 in November in North America, Australia, and most of Europe and included a "Limited Collector's Edition" with added content and an art book titled Destroyed Beauty that detailed much of the game's back-story. Despite the initial statements of Xbox 360 exclusivity, a Microsoft Windows version of the game was developed in conjunction with People Can Fly and released a year later, featuring new content including additional campaign levels and a new multiplayer game mode.

The game centers on the soldiers of Delta Squad as they fight to save the human inhabitants of the fictional planet Sera from a relentless subterranean enemy known as the Locust Horde. The player assumes the role of Marcus Fenix, a former prisoner and war-hardened soldier. The game is based on the use of cover and strategic fire for the player to advance through the scenarios; a second player can play cooperatively through the main campaign to assist. The game also features several online multiplayer game modes for up to eight players.

Gears of War sold over three million copies in just ten weeks and was the fastest-selling video game of 2006, and was the second-most played game over Xbox Live during 2007. The game has since sold over five million copies by September 2008. The game was well-received by critics, praising its gameplay and detailed visuals, and won several "Game of the Year" awards in 2006. The success of the game has led to the development of the Gears of War franchise, including the 2008 sequel Gears of War 2 and adaptations to books, comics, and a feature film on the way.

NECA Toy Fare Update by DarkFigures.com

Every year it's the same thing at Toy Fair: Groupies all over you, televisions flying out of hotel room windows, and someone's always got something crazy going on with deli meats. How we managed to survive is anyone's guess.

Nonetheless, let the word ring out across the land that NECA has emerged in high spirits from Toy Fair 2009 at the Javits Convention Center in scenic New York City, with our heads held high and a boat-load of new products and licenses revealed to the world for the first time!

The anticipation was palpable as we unveiled our expanding Twilight collection (you can see Figures.com's story here, with a photo gallery here), which includes just about all the Edward Cullen you can handle and then some, The Watchmen were indeed watched -- and the floor shook when new licenses were announced for the video games Dante's Inferno and Dead Space, both from EA, and SCEA's new masterpiece, God Of War 3!

Movie buffs lost their heads when they saw Boondock Saints righteous killers Connor MacManus and Murphy MacManus given the deluxe treatment in our very own Cult Classics line, and The Governator himself never looked better than he did on our shelf as part of our brand new Terminator 2: Judgment Day line! Cool Toy Review's photo gallery has pics of the whole booth ready for viewing, including our Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle Villain Assortment (check out that Krang!) and Series 2 of our line based on the hit game/cultural marking point Street Fighter IV. Chun Li never had it so good.

And though all good things -- even Toy Fair -- must come to an end, this one didn't before we showed off Series 1 & 2 of Harry Potter and The Half Blood Prince and our figures based on Resident Evil 5 (check out Toy News International's coverage here)! After winning the Falcon from fellow gambler and friend Lando Calrissian, Han extensively modified his ship to become one of the fastest space vessels in the galaxy. For this reason, he is hired to transport Jedi Knight Obi-Wan Kenobi and young Luke Skywalker on a mission that will forever alter Han's roguish course. After helping to rescue the Rebel leader Princess Leia from the clutches of the evil Empire, the charming yet insufferable pilot finds a focus for his flyboy talents. It is a clever deal, as Boba Fett is rewarded for his aid in the Rebel capture, and is also allowed to take the carbonite encased Han Solo back to Jabba the Hutt, and collect the bounty offered by the vile gangster as well. Han Solo suffers the painful injections and near torterious preparation process, and once encased in carbonite, is loaded into Fett's Slave 1 ship, and delivered to Jabba's palace where he remains frozen in perfect hibernation until Leia, Lando Calrissian, Chewbacca, and Luke Skywalker can rescue.

Jabba and his minions uncovered the plot to free Han Solo, and with Leia's true identity revealed, Jabba ordered the princess to be chained and clothed in a scant golden bikini. Leia bravely faced her captivity and Jabba's vile presence, secure in the knowledge that soon enough Luke would arrive, and the full plan for Han's rescue could unfold. Leia repaid the gangster by throttling the Hutt with the very chain that bound her, strangling Jabba and ending his cruel reign.

Stormtrooper training stresses complete indoctrination in the tenets of the New Order, and officers are followed without question. Specific environments call for specially trained and equipped stormtroopers, such as the snowtroopers that besieged the ice world of Hoth and the lightly-armored scout trooper that patrolled the forests of Endor.

The Stormtrooper Commander is always found on the front lines, leading his troops into any combat situation. This highly trained Imperial soldier is intelligent and resolute, as capable and fearsome as the ARC troopers of the Clone Wars era. They face perilous and dangerous missions without reservation, unswervingly dedicated to their orders and their obligation to the Empire. The Stormtrooper Commander is clearly visible on the battlefield due to his uniquely detailed armor, enhanced with added protection and gear, and he is equipped with a BlasTech E-11 blaster rifle.

Iron Man Mark I Maquette, Iron Man Mark I Statue. As the head of Stark Industries, billionaire inventor Tony Stark is responsible for the creation of high-powered weapons used by the U.S. military. While demonstrating Stark Industries' latest design, the devastating Jericho missile, to troops in the Afghanistan desert, Stark's convoy is attacked, and he is kidnapped and taken to a terrorist hideout. His body littered with shrapnel from the attack, Stark's fellow captive Yinsen fashions a battery-powered magnet that will keep the shrapnel from reaching his heart, which Stark later exchanges for a miniature arch reactor powerful enough to run his heart for fifty lifetimes.

When the terrorists show Stark their stockpile of Stark Industries weapons, the reason for his capture is clear. They want the Jericho, and they want Stark to build it for them. Knowing that this will lead to his death and the deaths of countless others, Stark and Yinsen instead fashion a high-tech suit of armor to fight their way out.

Working furiously, the suit is soon complete. They set off a bomb in their small quarters as a diversion, and Yinsen sets out with gun in hand to distract the guards while Tony's suit powers-up. The suit in full force, Tony begins the escape, the metal shell easily deflecting heavy gunfire. Making his way through the twisting underground passages, Tony finds Yinsen mortally wounded and turns his suit's weapons on the terrorists. He ignites the built-in flame-throwers and destroys the stockpiles of weapons. Using the suit's jetpack, he blasts into the air, escaping the captive zone. High above the desert sand, the jetpack explodes, destroying the armor but leaving Tony alive to be found by U.S. troops. This rudimentary Mark 1 suit design would be the basis for Tony Stark's more advanced Iron Man armor.

When his old friend Marcus Brody and the US Government discover a Nazi excavation in Egypt, they pay a visit to Dr. Jones to gain his aid, and recover the mysterious treasure before the Nazi excavation team.

Indiana Jones quickly realizes that the Nazis, aided by Belloq, have discovered the ancient city of Tanis, the resting place for the Ark of the Covenant. The Ark is said to house the Ten Commandments and grant incredible power to the one who can open it, potentially allowing the Nazis to destroy vast stretches of the world. To find the Ark before the Nazis, Indy must retrieve the medallion headpiece of the Staff of Ra from his old girlfriend Marion Ravenwood, unaware that a Nazi agent, Major Arnold Ernst Toht, is following close behind. The two men cross path in a fiery barroom brawl that leaves one side of the medallion's carvings burned into Toht's palm, the medallion safe with Marion. Traveling to Egypt, Marion and Indy seek the help of an old friend, Sallah, while Belloq attempts to read Toht's injury as a map to the Ark.

After translating the medallion's carvings, Indiana Jones and Egyptian excavator Sallah discover the Ark's true resting place. They begin to dig, knowing that without both sides of the medallion, the Nazis are searching the wrong location, but it doesn't take long for Belloq to realize the missing pieces of the medallion's puzzle. The Ark of the Covenant unearthed and the Nazi's in close pursuit, a struggle begins that would ultimately land the relic and Marion in the wrong hands. Indy closes in on Marion and the Ark, only to be captured himself. In their rush to unleash the relic's incredible power, Belloq and the Nazis have forgotten the Ark's sacred requirements, and soon find out the weight of their impatience.

After retrieving a strange jellyfish-like deity from an underwater ruin, Caul and other gentlemen perform an arcane ritual that ends with the creature's release and Caul being turned into an icthyo sapien. The men in the room then place the icthyo sapien's body in a tube of water, which was found a century later in the basement of a Washington, D.C. hospital. With no memory of his life before, the icthyo sapien received a new name from a piece of paper attached to the tube, dated the day of Abraham Lincoln's assassination (April 14, 1865). Sapien was brought to the Bureau for Paranormal Research and Defense (BPRD) for research after being discovered, and was saved by an empathetic Hellboy from curious BPRD scientists who wanted to dissect Abe to advance their research.

Cloak and Dagger Comiquette, Marvel Cloak and Dagger Maquette. Tandy Bowen was a sixteen-year-old who was neglected by her mother and felt distanced from her new stepfather. She ran away from home to New York City, and once there, she met Tyrone Johnson, a fellow runaway. The two teens became fast friends, and when the naive Tandy accepted an offer of shelter from some strange men, a wary Tyrone went along to protect her. Soon, they were forcibly delivered to criminal chemist Simon Marshall.

Marshall was developing a new synthetic heroin for the Maggia, testing it on runaway teens with fatal results. Johnson and Bowen were able to escape, though not before they were injected with Marshall's drug, which awakened latent mutant abilities in both of them. Tyrone found himself compelled to drain the life-force of others by enveloping them in the darkness of his cloak, while Tandy gained the ability to project light in the form of energy daggers, which she used to subdue Tyrone's darkness. The two decided to use their powers to protect the streets from men like Marshall, and became known as Cloak and Dagger.

Trying to earn his place within the Inner Circle of the supervillain Hellfire Club, mutant illusionist Jason Wyngarde, known as Mastermind, begins to secretly manipulate the X-Men's Jean Grey. The subversion is slow but steady, although Wyngarde is unaware of the danger in his dabblings, not knowing that Jean Grey holds the Phoenix Force. The X-Men infiltrate the Hellfire Club in hopes of learning more about their enemy, but are soon discovered. In the subsequent clash, Mastermind's manipulation of Grey leads her to turn against her teammates, joining the Hellfire Club as its Black Queen, and awakening the Dark Phoenix.
